The ISEF Special Awards Ceremony was today. It was incredibly long and painful, lasting from 7-10:30 at night (and I hadn't eaten dinner yet). So, I'm having a nice time at the International Science and Engineering Fair, in Atlanta. I've got my project set up, cleared any violations, and things are going nicely. We're staying in the Omni Hotel, at the CNN center, and the convention center is right next door. All of the other projects are looking really good, so I'm a little worried ( Read more... )

I was at Regional Science Fair today.  I did fairly well, and manged to win Best in Show again, so I'm going to International Science Fair in Atlanta this May.  I get to miss the Band Concert Again!  The other people from OSHS did well too: everyone we sent won 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in their category.  I also got some pretty cool special awards.

Ingrown toenails SUCK.  I just went to the doctor to get one treated, and I seriously want to curl into a little ball and die.  It feels like my foot is on fire.  I don't know if I'll be able to walk tomorrow at school.  A word of advice: don't cut your toenails shorter than the end of the toe.  The results are painful ( Read more... )
